On April 8, 2011, Wen Jiabao, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and premier of the State Council, made an inspection to Ningbo Haitian Plastics Machinery Group Co. Ltd, the president company of the Plastics Machinery Industry Association, during the investigation for economic operation in Zhejiang province.

Accompanied by leaders from Zhejiang province and Ningbo city, Premier Wen and his team visited the company’s production workshop and R&D center, where he was briefed by the Company’s chairman Zhang Jingzhang and the president Zhang Jianming. When he learned that products of Haitian are sold to more than 100 countries and regions in five continents, the performance of the whole machine has reached the international advanced level, among which the injection molding machine ranked the first in the industry, Wen Jiabao said happily: “Occupy the market in the fierce competition, this road go right! You must get to the top of the equipment manufacturing industry.”

Wen Jiabao also shook hands and posed for photos with the workers. He said to the workers: “The core of the 12th five-year plan is to transform the development model. To develop China’s economy, we must rely on scientific and technological progress and take the road of sustainable development. We must improving products added value to enhance international competitiveness.”
